The Elite Eight to the Final Four
After OSU's win over Tennesee Thursday night, OSU made it to the Elite Eight. Other teams in the tourney still are Florida playing against Oregon, Kansas against UCLA, North Carolina against Georgetown, and (of course) OSU against Memphis. FINALLY, Ohio State played a game to prove that they are worthy of their number one ranking. The defense was great, the offense was great, and their over all performance was great. The Buckeyes put up over 90 points against a Memphis team that allowed an average of just over 60 points in the rest of the tourney. It was a close game at frst. Ohio state controled he lead most of the game, but Memphis kept it close and eventually took the lead for a while. However, with under ten minutes left, Ohio State took control of the lead and never gave it back and won the game 92-76. The Buckeyes will play either Georgetown or North Carolina next Saturday. I won't recap the whole game for you. You can read about it on ESPN.com if you really want to. Bottom line is the Buckeyes are going to the Final Four! Go Bucks!

Nice to have a good basketball team for once, and now that North Carolina lost I can rub it in all the basketball freaks faces down here in NC. Hehe, Duke out early, NC State went to the NIT, NC didn't make the Final Four...so much for the bBall powerhouse that is the Triangle area.
Now what would be fun is a OSU-Florida rematch, and us to actually take it to them.
I totally agree with Bryan, I would love to see an OSU-Florida rematch. Although I doubt any of the basketball players would dare to talk smack to the football players. Those guys are BIG.
Yes, a rematch against Florida would be nice. Both to avenge the Football team's loss in the title game and the ass kicking that the basketball team took earlier in the year. They lost by 20, I think. It was before Oden was 100% though. we can't look past Geargetown though. They took out OSU last year in the second round.
